Wednesday Webcast Review: Hello The Podcast

hellothepodcast.jpgEven though Apple has yet to release the "true video iPod", Bostonist digs the video podcasts. This week, we offer up a gem of a vodcast, Hello the Podcast.

Hello the Podcast is a video podcast that tells the stories of twenty-somethings living in the Boston area. This is, essentially, season two of the Hello Simon podcast. Episode one of this season of the podcast begins with Simon leaving Harry (the narrator). Wait, should we be giving this away? Oh hell.4-50_4455.gif

The acting might not always be Academy Award worthy, however, that does not deter from its charm. The episodes can be witty, they often include good music, and are shot very well. Our favorite line of this young season has to be from the "Harry finds a Trikke" episode where a bystander responds to the question, "What is that thing?" The answer? "The first douche-powered machine."

The podcast isn't all toilet-humor, though. And, we think that there might even be moments that we find relevant to our own lives. For instance, when Harry looks for a roommate to replace Simon, or when he goes on a blind date with someone who he met on MySpace. Season Two is young, though, so who knows what the future holds for Harry. Or, even, who the really cute girl in the last episode is.
