We could never figure out why the little bunny wanted to run away. With such a loving mother who was always there to provide food, love, warmth, and to love and hold the little bunny unconditionally there seemed little motivation to run away. A little reindeer in Somerville decided that perhaps it was time to runaway (perhaps from the Illuminations Trolley tomorrow). Hargo and Remi have illustrated the story of the Runaway Reindeer with photographs across Boston. Hargo, known also for the Somerville Gates, provided concept and tech support and Remi Thornton, who has some absolutely brilliant night shots around Boston, used the magic of the lens for this project. From the about section of the Runaway Reindeer site:
Runaway Reindeer is a holiday story about family, love, and codependency. It was created by Hargo and Remi Thornton as our gift for humankind -- but particularly for those people who tend to get distracted by the noise the holidays create. Things can get a little crazy, so we're doing our part.Go ahead, take a breath and read the story for yourself.

We chose the KUMA image to use for the post because today the building at 11 Spring St. in Manhattan opens to the public to showcase street art. Visit Gothamist for a look inside 11 Spring St. That and it totally caught our eyes on Flickr.
