Mike Mulligan Digs an Apple Store

No, it's not actually Mary Anne digging the new Apple Store in Back Bay. It's unlikely that there will be a steam shovel converted to a boiler heating the new Apple venue on Boylston St, but it would make a great tale. Tech Superpowers has a web cam set up backing up to the 815 Boylston property that will open as the new glass encased Apple Store this fall, from which you can watch the developments of construction. In cooperation with ifoAppleStore and Architosh, Tech Superpowers has started a blog, Birth of an Apple Store, to follow the construction process of the 21,350 square-foot Apple Store. Perfect in this weather where it's great to have an opportunity to watch construction from the comfort of your internet connection without venturing out on the icy sidewalks. So Mac heads have their bases covered – next up is coverage of the conversion at the end of the block where the Virgin Megastore location is slowly turning into the Back Bay BestBuy.
