--Some none-too-bright teens robbed a pizza delivery guy of his pie yesterday in Dorchester. After scoring their pizza, they took off, and the BPD had the easiest time ever finding them. For starters, they left footprints in the snow, and they dropped pizza crusts in their building. [BPD News] --A heroic mother in Dorchester contacted police after suspecting her 15-year-old was hiding a loaded weapon in her home. Police searching the home came up with......

Movies The MFA calls Les Saignantes "the first science fiction film to come out of Africa," which should be reason enough to see it. But did we mention that it has won comparisons to Russ Meyer? And that it's about a group of women determined to rid their distopian future world of all men? Cameroon director Jean-Pierre Bekolo wins Bostonist's seal of approval. Remis Auditorium, Museum of Fine Arts, 6:00pm (also screening Sunday). $8/$9......

--What at least one tv station thought was a gasoline heist (hey, it's expensive) turned out to be the result of a mistaken delivery. WHDH reported that employees saw someone in a Lukoil truck and uniform delivering gas last night to the Lukoil on Bennington Street. Upon further inspection, they found that the individual had allegedly absconded with $19,000 worth of gas. Police started making calls and found that "Further investigation revealed that the gas......

--Early this morning, a man was stabbed outside Tonic on Comm Ave. The BPD report describes a fight in which one of the parties had a knife and decided to use it. The victim is going to be okay, but does that mean the city is going to have to shut down Tonic a la The 6 House? Fair is fair, you know. But the city brass probably won't do it. Last we heard, Whitey......

Who knew that Commish Ed Davis' radical new idea of having police officers patrol the streets might actually work? According to the Globe, crime is down in Bowdoin-Geneva, Grove Hall, and Downtown Crossing, where the new beats started. Since the back-to-basics plan is doing so well, Davis wants to add even more regular foot patrols. We agree that the Blotter looks slightly less crazy as of late. But we're curious. What happened to the Guardian......

--The Suffolk County DA's office announced that LaDawn Hicks, the sister of murder defendant Jason Meeks, has been charged with witness intimidation. Boston NOW reports that Hicks and Meeks made a three-way phone call from jail "urging" a witness not to testify, and it blew right back at her. Meeks allegedly shot Alvaro Sanders in Roxbury in 2001.
