--One person was shot at Ryan Playground in Mattapan yesterday afternoon. The injuries were non-life-threatening, but could the shooters at least keep their beef away from the playground? [Boston Globe] --Three men were shot in Lynn on Saturday night at another playground. One person said to a Globe reporter, "It's gotten to the point where they're not scared anymore, they're coming out and don't care who is in the way." [Boston Globe] --A 61-year-old Revere......

-- The Friday afternoon stabbing in Jamaica Plain may have been caused by pornography. Police have arrested Claribel Peralta, 21 of Boston, on charges that she stabbed her 33 year old boyfriend after flying into a rage when she discovered him watching pornography. Peralta had initially told police that she had come out of the bathroom in the victim's Amory Street apartment to find him pre-stabbed. [BPDNews; Herald] -- Two men were shot in a......

A story about hookers would usually be part of the Boston Blotter, but the sudden burst of coverage in the Suburban Hooker Plague deserves its own post. Bostonist is underwhelmed by the Suburban Hooker Plague because prostitution happens all the time in the city, and prostitution-related incidents are so common that they rarely rank on the Blotter. That is, unless the BPD's ongoing "Operation Squeeze" nets a lot of people or particularly old or young......

Google Street View has been available in several cities but has now made its debut in Boston, according to the Globe. The process allows you to take a 360 view of an address. If you want to use it, just go to Google Maps, type in a Boston address, and click on the little yellow man that pops up at the address. A new window will appear with a street-level image of the area. You......

--At Fairview and Robert, a 15-year-old masked teenager from Roslindale tried to steal a woman's bag last night. The woman started yelling, and two people at a gas station ran after him and caught him. The perp tried to say he was only 15. Nice try, bub. He was still arrested. Elsewhere on the Blotter, police arrested a whole bunch of alleged hookers as part of "Operation Squeeze." One of them was 56 years old.......

--Someone made a big mistake on Sunday by letting a sexual assault suspect go to the hospital without supervision. Police recaptured Edwardo Aponte of Dorchester this morning, but the incident makes us wonder what the BPD supervisor on duty was thinking. On Sunday, Aponte said he was sick, went to New England Medical Center in an ambulance, and walked out. Isn't that the oldest trick in the book? Even the characters of Comedy Central's Halfway......

--One man was shot to death and two were wounded in Dorchester last night. One resident told the Herald that the man was exactly who the shooters were looking for, and they shoved him into the hallway of an apartment building on Shandon Road and started firing. Two men were killed at that spot back in July. Last night's victim is the 49th homicide of the year. Later last night, two other people were shot......
